Dermaplaning or micropeel is an aesthetic trade secret in the modeling industry.  Actors and actresses do this before appearing on the red carpet.  This treatment can be combined with other treatments such as IPL and facials.  Dermaplaing gently removes the outer most layer of the dead skin on the face other any part of the body.  A surgical scalpel is used to manually exfoliate the skin.  The results are immediate and a fresh, bright skin is revealed.  You may add a mask for extra treatment and hydration.  This treatment can be done monthly.

What can you expect during your treatment?
Your face will be cleaned. Dermalplaning will be performed which is painless. Your clean, dry skin is held taut and a sterile 10 gauge blade is stroked across the skin at a 45 degree angle exfoliating dry skin cells and vellus hair. Afterwards a lactic enzyme peel or other peels will be applied. You skin will be rinsed and luxurious products will be applied to smooth and nourish your skin.

What areas can be treated?
Face, décolleté, and arms

How to prepare for treatment
Please avoid tanning the area to be treated. If you do go out in the sun, use complete sun block (>SPF), applied 2 to 3 times a day for at least 3 weeks prior to your treatment. Deeply tanned skin should be treated 4 to 6 weeks after active sun exposure.

For 7 days before treatment, avoid taking anticoagulants (including baby aspirin, Advil, Motrin, ibuprofen, flax, fish oil and extra vitamin C and E).  However, if you have been prescribed an anticoagulant (such as heparin or warfarin, Naprosyn, or any other blood thinner), then you must get permission from your treating doctor to have the treatment.

After treatment instructions

Please avoid sunlight or use sunscreen religiously.  You may resume using your retinol 3 days later.  Otherwise, you will fabulous and may resume any activities.
